Frequently Asked Questions

What are the airport’s hours of operation?

Eppley Airfield is open 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. For ticket counter hours, visit the Airline Information page.

What time do the security checkpoints open?

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) typically opens each checkpoint at 4:00 AM. Those checkpoints remain open until the last departure in the concourse.

What time do I need to show up at the airport?

The airlines recommend passengers arrive at the airport no later than 2 hours prior to departure to give yourself time for parking, walking, airline check-in and the TSA security checkpoint process. Peak departure times, such as the period between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM, have heavier traffic volumes and travelers should arrive at the airport well in advance of their scheduled departure times.

How do I make an airline reservation?

Airline reservations can be made online through the airline’s website or by calling the airline’s reservation hotline. Find airline website and phone numbers on Airline Information page

How do I know if my flight is running on time?

Flight status can be found on the arrivals & departures page, or by using your airline’s website.

Flight information monitors are located throughout the terminal.

Where should I park and how much does parking cost?

ParkOMA is the Official Parking at Eppley Airfield. For details on location, availability, and rates, please check the ParkOMA section. All other parking questions, including help finding your parked car, should be directed to the ParkOMA office at 402-346-2466.

What are the requirements for travel identification and permissible items at the checkpoint?

For details on I.D. requirements and prohibited items, please consult the Transportation Security Administration’s website.
